SERVICES

The services I currently offer are listed below:

  • Web & E-Commerce design: I am an experienced and qualified website designer. In 2002, I obtained a Masters Degree (MSc) in IT Multimedia from South Bank University, London. My objective is to provide professional, reliable, affordable and friendly services that meet my clients' needs and suit their budgets and at the same time to make as much contribution to charities as possible. As an independent designer, I work in partnership with my clients to ensure that each project is completed to my clients’ satisfaction. I am fully aware that each client is unique and each project has different needs. My approach is to carefully assess my clients' business requirements and suggest the best way to use IT and Internet technology to meet them. At present all design fees will go to charity - 100%. See my portfolio here.

  • Photography: I have a great interest and passion in photography. Since the age of 16 I have learnt such a lot in this field and have produced some amazing snaps. To see my photos please visit http://www.nellyandon.co.uk

  • Gardening: I was born in farm and I was a farmer's daughter, therefore farming and gardening will always be a part of my world. Even my husband often thinks that I love my plants more than I love him (poor chap).  Although I was born in Indonesia and the way we deal with gardens and plants are very different there and here in the UK, this has never put me off. Wherever you are, there is always a way to manage things, if you are prepared to do so. I have great skills in planting design and most of my friends think that I have extremely green fingers (good job my fingers are not actually green in reality). I also do plant stalls in the local farmers' market in South East London, located in the car park of Dulwich College, London. See my gardening portfolio and other information related to my gardening services here.

  • Event Management: I am an experienced event manager and a qualified Project Manager (PRINCE2 qualified).         I always like to organise things, from ladies' nights out or just entertaining friends at home, to small charity events and to large academic conferences.
    • From January - September 2004, I project managed the BAAL (British Association for Applied Linguistics) annual conference. It was a very successful conference and I was informed by the committee that it was the biggest and most successful BAAL conference in history with 375 participants from all over the world.
    • In May 2008, I managed to raise over £600 (six hundred pouds) for Breast Cancer Care UK, from a charity evening I organised with the help of my husband, my son Chris and a few of his friends.  We had 65 guests, and I was the only cook. It was a very tiring event but very rewarding. The effort was definitely paid off.
    • Since 2007, I have been organising small fundraising events such as cake sales, jewellery sales and plant sales, in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Care UK, in memory of my niece Anie Manullang. So far I have managed to raise over £5300 (five thousands and three hundred pounds) since 2007 for the charity. I have also done a few jewellery sales to raise money for Child Line UK, the charity, and managed to raise £323 (three hundred and twenty three pounds) for this charity in addition to free photographic services I offerred during a few of their charity events, in partnership with Reuters, the news agency.
    • In January 2000, I managed to organise a smooth launch of Conncect Indonesia, my very own charity, with 150 guests for the evening. A very challenging tasks, but it was a very successful event.

So, as you can see, I have done a fair amount of organising events. I am happy to help you organise small to large size events.

  • Designing and selling Jewellery: My passion for jewellery-making derived from the desire to promote Bali sterling silver beads globally. Bali silver beads are absolutely amazing creations handmade by ordinarly Balinese people. Everything is inctricately hand-made from the finest silver quality in Indonesia. Many sources reported that Bali Silver beads designs have been stolen by organisations in China and US, as the original Bali silver beads designs have never been patented.  It's sad to learn that our world is literally controlled and governed by the power of money and economic status. To see my jewellery and Bali silver beads, please visit http://www.fashion-elements.co.uk.
  • Cooking services: I am a good cook (my friends and family tell me all the time). I am particularly good at preparing South East Asian dishes, my specialites are of course mouth watering and exotic Indonesia curries, stir-fries and barbecues. If barbecues are the thing you have in mind, what about trying the famous Indonesian satay, accompanied by some fresh Indonesian tropical salads.

  • Interior design & decorating: One of my best skills. No need to say more .... really I am very good at it.

If you are interested in any of my services above, please contact me for further information. I look forward to doing charity work with you.
